I won't be shy:

you failed on both predictions.

:P

NB: I wonder if the House can request a full audit of Trump's tax returns?

Specifically of any Russian sources of sales to and/or financement from Russian interests?

Nope, the Senate is a clear gain for Trump and the House is a very small loss compared to Clinton's and O's back in their days.

In all a pretty good day for Trump. He can pass all the Judges he wants and the Dems now have the responsibility to propose centrist policies that would be agreeable to the Rep reinforced Senate while many of the new Dems House gals and guys are crazy commies.

In other words, it was easy daisy for the Dems while in the minority: now it's "a little bit" more complicated. FUBAR even, probably.

2020 is looking better by the minute.

You lie with such elegance, distinction and aplomb I suspect you were educated at a Jesuit-run institution.

• The Senate might be "a clear gain for Trump", it's still not what you predicted, i.e. "Senate: 55 to 59"

• The House might be a "very small loss compared to xyz", it's still not what you predicted, i.e. "keeping a majority"

In this cartoon, I'm on the left, you're on the right.
